Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Orlando Central is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our acute rehab unit. You will assess patients, set goals, develop treatment plans, and supervise PT/PTA staff while ensuring top-quality care.

Qualifications

• Hold a current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Certified BLS or obtain it within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Develop treatment plans and set goals.
• Supervise PTs/PTAs and students.
• Contribute to discharge planning and patient education.
• Document outcomes per department policies.
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement.
• Promote teamwork and address patient-specific needs.
• Assist in discharge planning and adaptive equipment.
