Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Rehabilitation team, delivering patient-centered therapy to help individuals regain independence and improve quality of life.

You will evaluate needs, design individualized treatment plans, collaborate with physicians and care teams, and educate patients and families while maintaining thorough documentation in a fast-paced rehab environment.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • (OT) Occupational Therapist credential held.

Occupational Therapists play a vital role in helping patients regain independence, confidence, and quality of life after illness or injury. Guided by our mission to care for and improve human life, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to each patient’s unique goals and capabilities. Working closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team, you will evaluate needs, develop individualized care plans, and provide hands‑on treatment that supports recovery through every stage of healing. Your role will include:

  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care, safe environments, and exceptional patient experiences.

  • Leading by example—providing guidance to therapy assistants or students and upholding HCA Healthcare’s mission, values, and commitment to excellence.

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is a 350-bed hospital that provides a wide range of medical services. It is known for its 24/7 emergency care, Level II Trauma Center, Burn Center, advanced heart care, and Baby-Friendly maternity services.
