Job summary

Summit BHC, located in Pleasant Valley Township, Iowa, is seeking an Intake RN-Acute for full-time employment. This position involves performing daily operations for patient intake and admissions, including clinical assessments and insurance verifications. Ideal candidates will have a nursing degree and experience in mental health admissions.

As part of Eagle View Behavioral Health, you will work closely with medical staff to ensure timely and appropriate patient admissions, contribute to treatment planning, and educate patients on their care.

Qualifications

• One or more years' experience in mental health or substance use disorder admissions preferred.
• Experience in clinical interviewing, patient assessment, referral, treatment planning.
• Valid current RN license from the state or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates admissions and assessment processes for incoming patients.
• Collaborates with facility medical and psychiatric staff.
• Maintains accountability for medication administration and documentation.
