Job Overview

Parkview Health is seeking a qualified Board Eligible/Board Certified Acute Pain Anesthesiologist to join its expanding program. The role requires a 50‑hour workweek, Monday through Friday, 7a.m. to 5p.m., with all physician hours in the operating room. Physicians will work a 100% OR schedule and share call duties (weekdays, weekends, and holidays) on a statistically even basis. The position offers the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of cases across multiple specialties.

Team

The anesthesia team in Fort Wayne includes 45 anesthesiologists, 6 of whom are pediatric fellowship‑trained, 11 with cardiovascular training, and 12 anesthesiology assistants. Patients are cared for at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Parkview Randallia Hospital, Parkview Southwest Surgery Center, and Parkview Wabash.

Responsibilities

• Perform anesthesia for a broad range of surgical procedures.
• Work exclusively in the operating room for 100% of physician hours.
