The CNSC operates at an advanced scope with order-writing privileges, collaborating with physicians and the care team; mastery of enteral and parenteral nutrition and education is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree or minimum 2 years of Clinical Experience.
• Licensure: Missouri license, AND registered, CNSC, and professional society membership within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Direct acute nutrition therapy through assessments, diagnoses, orders, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure appropriate therapy.
• Promote patient outcomes with nutrition care plans.
