Schedule: 7am to 7:30pm Saturday, Sunday & Monday with slight variations due to business needs. This is a multi-modality II position to perform MRI (primary modality), CT and/or XR (secondary modality). We prefer 2 years of experience. Licenses and certifications: ARTT (MR) & (RT) or (CT), MRTBE, and BLS (CPR).
Banner Ocotillo Medical Center is a small facility that operates with minimum staff on site. BOMC has a capacity of up to 120 beds. Our equipment for MRI is Siemens Aera 1, in regards X-ray is: Fluoro - Philips; Diagnostic and portables – Carestream; C-arm GE and mini-C-arm Orthoscan; speech pathology- Tims and CT - GE. Currently, we are performing the following exams: general, interventional, musculoskeletal, limited neurology, cardiovascular, etc. In Medical Imaging we provide services for outpatients and inpatients: ED, OBS, ICU, surgery, WIS and acute care. The patients are in the center and focus on all our interactions. Our pride in Medical Imaging is to care for each other. The location of our facility is very easy to access and it's a growing community; family oriented with lots of resources for education and recreation. Number of staff working alongside prospective team members: Monday to Friday shift 1 MR tech, 3 multimodality XR / CT techs Saturdays and Sunday's day shift 1 MR tech, 2 multimodality XR / CT techs. 1 Imaging Assistant during day shift hours. Number of patients seen daily: an average of 5 patients for MRI, 32 patients for CT and 32 for X-ray.
Banner Ocotillo Medical Center is a new, comprehensive medical center located in Chandler, AZ. The hospital has 124 beds with ample shelled space for future growth. The hospital offers key inpatient and outpatient services, such as emergency care, intensive care, endoscopy, cardiac catheterization, imaging, surgical and women's services. This position performs prescribed procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population.
Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology programs. Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) based on modalities in which they will be conducting work and licensure by the state regulatory agency as applicable. As of August 1, 2019, all Multi-Modality Technologist's hired on or after August 1,2019 will be required to have an advance certification by an accrediting body in a specialty if applicable. BLS certification required
This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience. Must be actively working in each certified modality, in accordance with the needs of the facility. The Multi-Modality Technologist II will be required to rotate and cover department scheduling as needed and required in areas where obtained certifications apply. Multi-Modality Technol II Requires certification in at least two (2) of the following modalities, or one certification from Level I and one certification from Level II: Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (CNMT), Position Emission Tomography (PET).
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
