Job summary

Staff Today Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Lacey, WA to support school health services. The role provides basic nursing care, administers medications per physician orders, and monitors student health needs.

We offer competitive pay of $45.95 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and short-term disability, plus a 401(k). Shifts are Monday through Friday, 30-minute lunch with a 7.5-hour day.

Qualifications

• WA LVN/LPN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board if required.
• Excellent communication with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and health services to students in a school setting.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and health protocols.
• Monitor and assess students' health conditions, illnesses, injuries, and medical needs.
• Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records and documentation.
• Assist students with chronic health conditions, including care plans and ongoing monitoring.
