Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an 8-week assignment in Bakersfield, CA. The role requires recent Epic EMR experience and acute inpatient clinical background.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver nutrition care and education across the hospital. The position includes a day shift, 5x8-hour weeks, and floating to Adventist Health Delano, Tehachapi, and Selma based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition or equivalent.
• Master's Degree (required for RD exam eligibility on or after January 1, 2024).
• Registered Dietitian credential (RD).
• Dietetic Internship or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient clinical dietitian experience preferred.
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy and patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor patient progress and document interventions accurately.
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on nutrition-related topics.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and clinical standards.
