Qualifications

• Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Graduate of Respiratory Care program accredited by CoARC.
• Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
• Must have effective listening skills for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the respiratory needs and develop Respiratory Care Plans.
• Application and operation of acute care ventilators.
• Maintain departmental and hospital records accurately.
• Perform procedures with care and empathy for patients.
• Be self-directed in the absence of Team Leader.
