Job summary

UNC Health Rex in Raleigh, NC is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Acute Care Surgeon to join our established practice, providing comprehensive care to adults across general surgical needs. This full-time role features rotating 12-hour shifts, 14 shifts per 28-day cycle, and access to EPIC EMR, with competitive base salary, productivity incentives, and a robust benefits package.

Candidates must have MD/DO, NC license or eligibility, BLS/ACLS, and hospital experience with acute care

Acute Care Surgery Opportunity with UNC Rex in Raleigh, NC

North Carolina Surgery at Raleigh is actively seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Acute Care Surgeon to join their practice. This is a full-time position within a well-established, community-focused surgical practice providing high-quality care to adult patients across a broad range of general surgical needs.

• Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

Professional Experience Requirements:

• Prefer prior hospitalist experience.

• Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.
• REASONING ABILITYHigh-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.
• CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNorth Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine.
