Skilled Wound Care is hiring Acute Care Surgeons in McKenzie, TN to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, Monday–Friday surgeon role lets you practice surgical debridement and bedside procedures while avoiding nightly trauma shifts.

As a clinician in a flexible independent contractor arrangement, you’ll maintain your skills, enjoy clinical autonomy, and benefit from streamlined documentation using our custom software, with competitive earnings and quarterly

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound care procedures including debridement and bedside care.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing wounds in post-acute settings.
• Collaborate with facilities to implement wound care protocols.
• Follow patients through healing and document progress using our software.

• Average Annual Earnings: $200,000-$250,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)
