Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Acute Care at Adventist Health Sierra Vista in San Luis Obispo, CA. The role covers a hospital-wide scope with MBSS requirements and ICU experience, while floating between Sierra Vista and Twin Cities.

The assignment is 13 weeks, with day shifts, 40 hours per week, and a weekend rotation. Start date 10/12/2026 through 01/10/2027.

Qualifications

• 2 years of acute-care experience with adults
• 1 year of experience may be considered if an internship was completed in an acute-care setting
• Must be proficient in conducting MBSS
• Acute-care hospital experience required
• Experience with adult patients
• Experience with tracheostomy patients preferred/expected based on assignment
• Ability to work across multiple hospital units
• Ability to float between Sierra Vista and Twin Cities

Responsibilities

• Provides speech therapy services throughout the hospital
• Treats patients across Day Stay, NICU, SDU, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, ICU, and outpatient services
• Performs Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
• ICU patient care and MBSS required
• Scrubs not provided and no color requirement
