Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Acute Care team in a fast-paced hospital environment. This 13-week contract offers hands-on patient care, coordination with the healthcare team, and a focus on clinical excellence.

You will deliver nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, while supervising staff and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Commitment to patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Prior acute care or hospital nursing experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and professional standards.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Administer medications, fluids, and respiratory treatments as prescribed.
• Recognize and interpret patient symptoms; report and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes.
• Teach patients and families about medications, treatments, and ongoing care after discharge.
• Organize time and prioritize tasks effectively to provide timely patient care.
• Ensure infection control and safety policies are followed consistently.
• Provide leadership and guidance to assigned staff, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new team members.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain and enhance professional competence.
• Support a positive and collaborative work culture through effective communication and teamwork.
