Job summary

SriMatrix health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for acute care in Coldwater, MI. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care with a patient- and family-centered approach.

The role requires strong critical thinking, effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to respond to urgent situations, while maintaining patient safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Complete accredited nursing program and 25 contact hours of CE during licensure period (pain management and implicit bias).
• Current Registered Nurse license in Michigan.
• Current CPR certification; specialty certifications as required.
• Proficient in nursing procedures, strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient- and family-centered care, educate on care plans and self-care strategies.
• Assess patient conditions, formulate nursing diagnoses, implement and document care.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols; participate in safety and quality initiatives.
• Maintain electronic health records accurately and respond to clinical decision tools and alerts.
• Coordinate care with physicians and care teams; escalate concerns per protocol.
• Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and systems-based practice in daily rounds.
