Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• RN - Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS/TCAR or other department certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manages individualized, outcome oriented nursing care using the nursing process.
• Performs medication administration per SSH policies and completes mediation reconciliation.
• Develops and communicates plan of care, assesses needs on admission and throughout hospitalization.
• Documents patient care per nursing policy and unit standards; monitors pain and patient comfort.
• Maintains safety and compliance, including hand hygiene, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Supports patient/family centered care and facilitates discharge planning when appropriate.
