ScionHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Denver facility to deliver direct and indirect patient care within an acute care unit. You will follow the nursing process from assessment to evaluation and collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes discharge planning, patient-family education, and adherence to hospital policies while delivering compassionate, high‑quality care in a private-room setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age and condition.
• Basic computer skills and electronic medical records familiarity.
• Ability to organize tasks, set priorities, and work under pressure.
• Fluent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Good and regular attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain nursing care standards and comply with hospital policies.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff capabilities.
• Document admissions, plans of care, and patient progress accurately.
• Assess and reassess pain; educate patients and families on pain management.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-disciplinary teams in discharge planning.
• Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and physicians.
