Job summary

Stormont Vail Health in Kansas is seeking a full-time Medical/Surgical nurse for a variable 12-hour shift that totals 36 hours per week. The role requires a BSN, Kansas RN licensure, and BLS within 90 days of hire. ACLS/RQI may be required depending on department.

The nurse will provide comprehensive patient care across age 12+ with focus on safety, advocacy, and evidence-based practice while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Experience in acute/chronic conditions is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• RN licensure in Kansas (KSBN) or multi-state license accepted.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS/RQI may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Collects pertinent patient data and information.
• Analyzes assessment data to identify problems and plan care.
