Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. in Miami Beach is seeking a Registered Nurse Intern in Acute Care. This full-time position features three 12-hour shifts per week and rotating weekends, offering hands-on learning in a busy surgical/acute care unit.

You will participate in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and patient education under supervision, developing essential nursing skills in a supportive team dedicated to clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Current FL Nursing License, Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses clinical data and monitors patient status in the surgical/acute care population.
• Administers medications and manages IV therapies per policy.
• Performs pre-operative and post-operative care and provides patient and family education.
