Job summary

Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit to provide high-acuity care with telemetry monitoring and close patient observation.

You will lead comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to tailor an individualized plan of care that promotes safety and excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires BSN or active candidacy and RN licensure in NC.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; active RN license in state.

Responsibilities

• Lead the healthcare team with an authentic personalized relationship to assess, plan, implement and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Administer medications and advanced therapies; monitor cardiac rhythms and patient condition.
• Educate patients and families; partner with physicians and interdisciplinary care team to promote optimal outcomes.
• Care for higher-acuity patients on telemetry in a fast-paced Intermediate Care Unit.
