Stormont Vail Health in Kansas is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join the Birthplace team. This full-time night shift role provides compassionate care to birthing persons and newborns, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting.
The ideal candidate holds a BSN, is KSBN-licensed, and demonstrates strong clinical skills and communication. The position offers non-exempt status and support for ongoing professional development.

This expert, patient-focused team helps care for healthy term newborns, mother baby couplets, high-risk antepartum, and gynecology patients through offering support and comfort throughout their stay. Our Labor and Delivery team specifically helps the birthing person every step of the labor, delivery, recovery, and post-partum process. The Birthplace has electronic fetal monitoring equipment with central display for easy, constant observation. An operating suite for Cesarean sections is just a few steps away. Our patients receive care from a compassionate and highly skilled nursing and interdisciplinary team in a fast paced environment. We strive to make each birth a special experience for our families as they have been preparing for this event for many long months.
Bachelor's Degree Bachelors of Science: Nursing (BSN)
Registered Nurse - KSBN A multistate license with the ability to practice within the State of Kansas is also accepted.
Required Basic Life Support - BLS RQI, CPR or ACLS certifications may be required in lieu of or in addition to BLS depending on department. Must have within 90 days of hire.
Workspace is a quiet and distraction-free allowing the ability to comply with all security and privacy standards. Stable access to electricity and a minimum of 25mb upload and internet speed. Dedicate full attention to the job duties and communication with others during working hours. Adhere to break and attendance schedules agreed upon with supervisor. Abide by Stormont Vail's Remote Worker Policy and will review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually.
