Job summary

Candidates must hold RN licensure in the state, prefer BSN, and have BLS certification; ACLS/PALS as required by unit.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed in the state of employment.
• BSN in Nursing preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS as applicable by unit.
• Specialty certification preferred when available.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, comprehensive nursing care in an acute care environment.
• Develop and update the plan of care; coordinate with the care team.
• Advocate for patient autonomy, dignity, rights, and values.
• Ensure safety and quality in nursing care; use evidence to improve outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to staff education.

Education

Registered Nurse license in the state of practice

BSN in Nursing preferred

BLS certification

ACLS certification (unit dependent)

PALS certification (unit dependent)
