Job summary

Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, VA is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse to join the 25 & 26 Main Acute Care team on a full-time day shift (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.), with 3–12-hour shifts per week and some weekends.

This role offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for eligible nurses, with the Acute Care Unit providing mentorship and a diverse patient population to develop clinical skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• BSN from accredited nursing program; if RN has an ADN, must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Minimum 1 year RN clinical experience in the acute care setting.
• Virginia RN license or privilege to practice in Virginia under eNLC; BLS for Healthcare Provider required upon start.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting multiple data sets and synthesizing their relationships.
• Formulates individualized plans of care based on assessment findings and interpreting trends to achieve best practice.
• conducts patient care in a patient- and family-centered manner, integrating knowledge, skills and experiences to meet needs of patients and families.
• Advocates for patients' rights from the patient and family perspective and provides counsel while resolving issues.
• Coordinates healthcare and transition planning with resources from all disciplines to achieve outcomes.
• Evaluates processes to achieve outcomes and revises plans of care as needed.
