Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Acute Care - Medical on a full-time Day shift (7am–7pm). The RN will be part of an interdisciplinary team delivering safe, high-quality patient care and will operate under the WellStar governance model and professional practice standards.

Required include GA RN licensure or eNLC privilege, a current BLS card, and direct patient care experience. BSN is preferred, with the potential for national certification in the specialty.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program preferred
• Georgia RN license or eligible via eNLC on start date
• Current BLS card from the American Heart Association on first day of employment
• Direct patient care experience required
• National certification in area of specialty preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, high-quality patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with Nurse Managers and leaders in a clinical setting
• Uphold Georgia Nursing Practice Act and ANA Standards of Practice
• Advocate for patient voices and support service-excellence goals
• Contribute to WellStar's Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing and evidence-based care
