Overview

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department standards and practice guidelines. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team, following nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. You will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers and support the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical providers, and document care administration in the patient\'s medical record. Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action for any adverse drug events.
  • Provide exceptional care by responding to patient requests, proactively anticipating needs, and resolving them.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient\'s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding.
Qualifications
