Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a per diem / PRN Physical Therapist for a per diem / PRN job in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Acute Care PT will provide patient care at Select Specialty Hospital-Tulsa with a schedule of PRN/As Needed and no weekends required.

Compensation includes $58.00 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include initial assessments, discharge planning, supervising PT/PTA students, and documentation per policy.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performing initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Setting goals and developing treatment plans.
• Working cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
• Participating in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, PT and PTA students.
• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions as needed.
• Completing documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
