Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, Inc., in Sparks, NV, is seeking an inpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat adolescent through geriatric patients. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction while benefiting from a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, planning and adjusting treatments, documenting progress, coordinating with physicians and staff, and assisting with staff

Qualifications

• Current State Physical Therapy Licensure is required.
• Three or more years of experience in all aspects of physical therapy preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops treatment plans and goals, monitors progress and updates plans as needed.
• Reports progress to staff, patients and family; participates in care conferences and rounds.
• Maintains documentation for communication with physicians and third-party payers.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams; provides supervision to staff and students.
• Schedules care, delivers various therapeutic interventions to facilitate discharge and transition.
• Participates in staff education and program development; performs other duties as assigned.
