Job summary

Sentara Health, including CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, Williamsburg Hospital and Obici Hospital, seeks a Physical Therapist for its Acute Care Float Pool. You will assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility and reduce pain, while educating patients and caregivers.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy; a Master’s/Doctorate is preferred, and 1 year experience for resource pool applicants with BLS. Competitive base pay with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Level Degree or Higher in Physical Therapy.
• Master's or Doctorate Level Degree preferred.
• 1 year experience required for Resource Pool applicants.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility and relieve pain.
• Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
• Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
