Job summary

Wellstar Paulding in Hiram, Georgia seeks a full-time Acute Care Physical Therapist to join our compassionate team. The role includes 32 hours per week with responsibilities spanning patient assessment, treatment planning, and family education across the rehab continuum.

The PT will implement treatment plans, adjust goals with patient/family input, and provide discharge instructions. Compliance with regulatory standards and infection prevention is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Masters, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist; BLS certification required.
• Active licensure required upon hire.
• Awareness of infection prevention and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan care with physician.
• Develop and revise Plan of Care with patient/family.
• Execute PT treatment plans and progress toward goals.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge instructions.
• Document evaluations and plans per department guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff and physicians; ensure safety and infection prevention.
