Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a Physical Therapist to join Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule in an acute care hospital setting.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, deliver services, document progress, and collaborate with the care team while educating patients and families on recovery. Active NY license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program.
• Active New York State Physical Therapist License and Registration.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum 1 year of recent supervised Physical Therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver physical therapy services and monitor patient progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients and families on therapy and recovery.
• Follow hospital policies, safety, and infection control standards.
