Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy, drug safety, and clinical monitoring.
• Excellent communication, supervision, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to interpret laboratory data and perform pharmacokinetic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical care within assigned patient care areas, coordinating resources for efficient service.
• Interpret and clarify physicians’ medication orders, review patient medication profiles for safety and appropriateness.
• Recommend formulary alternatives, advise medical staff on drug therapy issues, and monitor laboratory results.
• Provide drug information and patient discharge medication consultations, and participate in medical rounds.
• Calculate drug dosages, verify orders, and prepare compounded or sterile medications using aseptic techniques.
• Report supply needs, supervise pharmacy staff and students, and coordinate activities with healthcare teams.
• Assist in policy review and ensure compliance with departmental standards.
