Job summary

As part of the care team, you will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient status, respond to call lights, and help maintain a clean, safe environment while adhering to infection control practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic life support certification preferred or must obtain CPR within 3 months.
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to patient care.
• Experience in healthcare or caregiving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support to patients by addressing needs and assisting with comfort and emotional well-being.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility).
• Respond to call lights and communicate patient requests to nurses.
• Monitor changes in patient condition and report to nurse or supervisor.
• Escort patients within the facility and assist with meal service.
• Maintain a safe, clean patient environment and adhere to infection control practices.
• Support nursing staff with non-technical tasks and basic documentation.
