Advance Rehabilitation provides specialized occupational therapy services and seeks a passionate OT to join the team at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in an acute care setting. The successful candidate will focus on orthopedics, pursue ongoing knowledge growth, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality rehabilitation.

Located in Jasper, GA, this role offers mentorship, in-house APTA residency, and a comprehensive benefits package with paid time off and retirement

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college with an AOTA curriculum.
• Current state of Georgia OT license, CPR certification.
• Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills.
• Outgoing and energetic personality.
• New graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals within the scope of occupational therapy practice.
• Deliver direct patient care using evidence-based interventions and established occupational therapy protocols, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes and patient safety.
• Document assessment findings, treatment progress, and instructions provided to patients and their caregivers accurately and comprehensively in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop written plans of care and establish measurable goals based on the initial evaluation findings, collaborating closely with patients and their interdisciplinary care team to ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
• Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment programs, incorporating therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications to enhance patients' functional independence and quality of life.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and insurance providers, to coordinate care, address concerns, and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Ensure timely completion of documentation, including progress notes, treatment summaries, discharge plans, and incident reports, to support continuity of care and facilitate reimbursement for services rendered.
