Job summary

Tap Healthcare Solutions seeks an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a Medical Surgical team in Sierra Vista, AZ. The OT will evaluate and treat patients recovering from acute conditions, surgery, and hospitalization, with goals of regaining independence and safe discharge.

Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and rehab staff, you will develop individualized care plans focused on mobility, self-care and quality of life, in a dynamic acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Arizona.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from acute medical conditions, surgery, and hospitalization.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff to develop individualized care plans.
• Focus on improving mobility, self-care and overall quality of life.
• Assist transition to the next level of care.
