Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join an inpatient acute care rehab team for a 13-week assignment. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and following the plan of care, and providing ADL training and therapeutic exercises to improve function.

The therapist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, supervise aides, document daily progress, and participate in rounds.

Qualifications

• Indiana license is required.
• Minimum of 1 year in Acute Care Client.
• BLS, NBCOT, Manual Therapy, Lymphedema certifications preferred.
• Experience managing high acuity patients in ICU and progressive care units.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and follow the plan of care for inpatients.
• ADL training, therapeutic exercises, and activities to improve function.
• Assess discharge disposition recommendations daily.
• Supervise and guide certified occupational therapy assistants.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and attend rounds; complete daily documentation.
