Progress West Hospital in O'Fallon, MO is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. One-on-one patient care and a flexible scheduled. Come join our BJC team today!

The licensed OT provides skilled therapy services, educates families and care teams, and contributes to discharge planning within a hospital setting. A Master's degree is preferred, with licensure as an Occupational Therapist. PRN shifts with some weekend/holiday rotation are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) required.
• Master's Degree in OT preferred.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in good standing.
• Experience in hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes treatment plan and provides treatment, considering discharge needs; expected discharge functional status; and appropriate equipment and supplies.
• Educates, collaborates with, and conferences with patients, families, and other health care providers; making recommendations for referrals to specialists as needed.
• Delegates to assistants, techs, and students through written and verbal communication including determining the skill level or competency required to provide interventions to best meet the needs of the patient.
• Completes documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
• Provides assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Occupational Therapy Services.
