Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Atlantis, FL, at a 558-bed acute care facility serving Palm Beach County. The OT will manage the complete care process for an assigned patient caseload, collaborating with physicians and the patient care team to deliver evaluations and interventions in line with the plan of care.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and ROT credential; one year of experience preferred, with new graduates considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Registered Occupational Therapist (ROT) credential required.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete occupational therapy care process for an assigned patient caseload with physicians and the care team.
• Conduct evaluations and treatment interventions within scope of practice and develop individualized plans of care.
• Deliver skilled interventions to achieve functional changes aligned with the physician's plan of care.
• Communicate payor requirements to the physician, team, and patients/families in a timely manner.
• Prioritize caseload, identify daily staffing needs, and coordinate patient assignments and handoffs.
