Wellstar Health System is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in ambulatory and inpatient settings. You will manage cosmetic and reconstructive patients, assist in the operating room, and participate in inpatient rounds under physician supervision.
The role requires a Master’s in Nursing with ANCC or NCCPA credentials, BLS, and full credentialing to practice.

The Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery requests to hire an APP to provide the upmost patient centered care in an ambulatory and inpatient setting with a multi-specialty group of plastic surgeons. This will include, but not limited to, ambulatory management of cosmetic and reconstructive patients, first assist in the operating room, and inpatient responsibilites to include rounding on all plastic and reconstructive patients.
Nurse Practitioner - Master's Degree in Nursing. Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body or currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of GA by the Georgia Board of Nursing Advanced Certification in the specialized area if required. Current American Heart Association, Basic Life Support(BLS). Must be fully credentialed by the credentialing office to work.

Physician's Assistant - Graduated from an accredited Physician's Assistant program. Certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Licensure to practice medicine through the GA Composite Medical Board Must maintain status as a certified PA, including completion of all requirements for continuing medical education and re-cert. Advanced Certification in the specialized area if required. Current American Heart Association, Basic Life Support(BLS). Must be fully credentialed by the credentialing office to work.
