Job summary

Baptist Health Paducah is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join the inpatient cardiology team. The role focuses on hospital rounding and ER consults for all Cardiology services.

Full-time, 7 AM–7 PM schedule with seven days on and seven days off; expect 15–30 consults per day. Cardiology background and inpatient experience preferred; KY licensure required.

Baptist Paducah is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our inpatient cardiology team

• Practice address: 2601 Kentucky Avenue Medical Park 1, Suite 301 Paducah, KY 42003
• Position is open to experienced physician assistants or acute care nurse practitioners
• Full time 7AM-7PM; Seven days on, seven days off
• 15-30 consults per day
• Cardiology background, preferably with inpatient experience is preferred

This position will primarily be hospital rounding and ER consults for all Cardiology (Non-invasive, Interventional, and EP).

Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of accredited APP program. Terminal degree in APP field preferred.
• National certification from the appropriate national certifying agency for the particular APP.
• Must maintain national certification.
• Eligible at all times to be insured for professional liability.
• Current valid and unrestricted license to practice as an APP in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
• BCLS required through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS as required for position
