Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO is seeking an experienced RN for a 24-bed Acute Care Medicine unit on the South Campus. The role offers full-time salaried employment with option of evenings or nights, and 4 or 5 shift plans to fit personal schedules.

A $15,000 sign-on bonus is eligible for this position, with a strong focus on patient care and teamwork. Required qualifications include 2–5 years of RN experience and a BSN degree.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.

Responsibilities

• Manages staff including hires, training, assignments and performance evaluation, and professional development.
• Participates in staffing, revenue and expense budgets and ensures alignment with department goals.
• Provides and oversees patient care according to planned interventions and age-specific needs.
• Creates and implements a collaborative plan of care based on assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Monitors staffing, timekeeping, payroll and overtime; coordinates staff communications and meetings.
• Ensures staff productivity and adherence to department goals; maintains a safe work environment.
