Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care in a 25-bed acute care unit within a leading hospital. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while promoting patient and family-centered care, safety, and quality standards.

You will develop individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure.
• No prior experience necessary; minimum of 2 years experience preferred.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness as this is a safety-sensitive role.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Develop and communicate comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Educate patients and families on managing their conditions and post-treatment care.
