Tucson Medical Center invites an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the inpatient neurosurgery service at TMC Grant in Tucson, Arizona. This 0.6 FTE, part-time role offers collaboration with a five-surgeon call group and APP support, with no on-call requirements.

The role focuses on rounding, assessment and management of hospitalized neurosurgical patients, admissions, care coordination, documentation and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification or eligibility required.
• Experience in neurosurgery, neurology, acute/critical care, or hospital medicine preferred; new graduates may be considered with appropriate training.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary hospital team.

Responsabilités

TMC Health is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient neurosurgery service at TMC Grant. This benefits-eligible, 0.6 FTE position offers the opportunity to support a busy surgical service, strengthen continuity of care and contribute to ongoing service-line improvement. New graduates may be considered with appropriate training.

The Acute Care Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with a five-surgeon call group, a partner APP, hospitalists, nursing, case management, therapists and other members of the inpatient care team. Responsibilities include rounding, assessment and management of hospitalized neurosurgical patients, admissions, consults, care coordination, documentation and discharge support.
