Job summary

Highland Hospital of Rochester NY seeks an LPN to provide direct patient care in the General Medicine/Surgical Unit – West 7- Complex Care Unit. You will work under the supervision of RNs to support patients with pneumonia, COPD, alcohol withdrawal, and other diagnoses.

Qualifications include NYS LPN licensure, CPR certification, and 1 year acute care or 2 years long-term care experience. 36–40 hours/week; full-time position based in Rochester, NY.

Qualifications

• Education: Fulfills educational requirements for licensure as an LPN in New York State.
• Licensed in NYS as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Collaborate with the health care team to support patient care.
• Mentor/new hire PCT or Level I/II LPN orientees after completion of the Ancillary Preceptor Course.
