Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) to float among Acute Care units. You will assess, plan, and deliver patient-centered nursing care, supervise nursing staff, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.

Requires a nursing degree from CCNE/ACEN accredited program and an Ohio license or interim permit. Prior experience in relevant care settings is preferred. Regular full-time shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, delegation and evaluation of nursing care.
• Direct and supervise nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
• Ensure alignment with the professional practice model and patient-centered care.
