Job summary

DaVita is seeking an RN to provide dialysis care in a hospital setting for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. The role involves delivering inpatient dialysis therapies, collaborating with hospital teams, and monitoring patients in units like ICU, CCU, and ED.

Training is provided, and no prior dialysis experience is required. The position supports dialysis programs at Danbury and Putnam Hospitals with a 3-day-per-week schedule and a 6pm–6am shift, including

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice (CT)
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• CNN/CDN certification preferred
• Must pass color vision test
• Vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in this program

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, apheresis)
• Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff
• Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes
• Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs
• Adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment
