Job summary

Northern Montana Hospital in Havre, MT is seeking an Acute Care CNA to provide nursing care on Med/Surg units under supervision of professional nursing staff. The role focuses on compassionate patient support and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Nurses Aide by the State of Montana.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Ability to interpret and apply verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Provides emotional support for patients and families.
• Assesses patient needs, including skin care, bowel/bladder and ADLs.
• Takes and records vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, BP in both arms).
• Measures height and weight; records intake and output.
• Answers phones and directs calls as appropriate.

Education

High school graduation or equivalent (preferred)

Certified Nurses Aide by the State of Montana

Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

Ability to interpret and apply verbal and written instructions

Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
