Kaiser Permanente in Oregon is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the acute care nursing team. This role operates under supervision, performing routine tasks within established duties and demonstrating patient-care competencies as directed by the RN.

Responsibilities include vital signs, basic patient care, and documentation. Requires Oregon CNA certification and BLS within 1 month of hire; prior acute care experience preferred.

Formación

• Nursing Assistant Certificate - Level 1 (Oregon) or Nursing Assistant Certificate - Level 2 (Oregon)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 1 month of hire

• Technology Skills: Uses computerized information systems for assignments and understands clinical procedures.
• Knowledge: Maintains current knowledge through inservices and policy reviews.
• Legal & Ethical Responsibilities: Provides care within authorized duties and HIPAA compliance.
• Team Focus: Works collaboratively with healthcare team; supports unit-based activities.
• Leadership & Change Management: Supports new ideas and mentors teammates.
• Performs Tasks & Procedures: Performs assigned tasks with competency; includes vital signs, catheter care, suctioning, wound care, and other routine nursing tasks.
• Safety Practices: Maintains safe patient environment and follows safety policies.
