Job summary
Morrison Healthcare at UM Capital Region Health Medical Center in Largo, MD is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our acute care team. You will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education to patients, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and dietitians to optimize outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist or eligible to sit for the CDR exam, with licensure in the state of practice preferred.
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligible via CDR.
- Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice as applicable.
- Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Nutrition Care: perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop care plans.
- Education: provide guidance on nutrition for patients, families, staff, and community.
- Evidence-Based Practice: apply latest research with facility protocols.
- Quality & Performance Improvement: contribute to QAPI initiatives.
- Collaboration & Service Excellence: partner with food service and care teams.
- Mentorship & Professional Development: support dietetic interns and staff.
