VIE HEALING is a boutique wellness residency specializing in Traditional Chinese Medicine. We seek positive, self-motivated massage professionals who treat their craft as an art form and aim to heal the mind, body, and spirit.

Proficiency in cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, and electric stimulation is required, with ear seeding as a plus. You will maintain a safe treatment space, document notes, and communicate clearly with patients and front desk.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and/or Doctorate of Chiropractic.
• Current CA State License.
• Herbal Medicine knowledge preferred.
• Master Tung technique knowledge preferred.
• Flexible and available to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and serene environment for each patient.
• Articulate theories, diagnoses and TCM philosophies to patients.
• Prescribe treatments and herbal formulations.
• Maintain treatment notes and client files.
• Adhere to treatment times to manage appointment flow.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings.

• VIE HEALING is boutique wellness residency specializing in the art of Traditional Chinese Medicine. We offer a variety of services such as acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, ear seeding, tarot, and massage. We are looking for positive, well-rounded, self-motivated massage professionals who see their profession as an art form; one of which can be used for deep healing of the mind, body and soul. Who we are: At VIE HEALING, we seamlessly blend ancient Eastern wellness techniques with the finest contemporary tools and proprietary products to offer an intentional and holistic approach to healing. With the help of our skilled practitioners, this careful curation provides our community with a special haven of relaxation, optimal for restoring health, happiness, and beauty. What we do: We work carefully with each patient to create a customizable treatment plan intended to tap into the body’s ability to heal itself from within and nourish on all levels. Our goal is to bring balance to the mind, body, and spirit. Our Ideal Candidate: Must be able to clearly articulate and communicate theories, diagnoses, and TCM philosophies to patients, not just perform them.
• Proficient in cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, and electric stimulation. Proficiency in ear seeding is a huge plus.
• Capable of treating a wide range of disorders, including both physical and psychological conditions, using various techniques as well as accurately diagnosing conditions through patient interviews, observation, and interpretation of symptoms.
• Be able to confidently prescribe different treatments as well as herbal formulations
• Must be able to create a safe and serene environment for each patient
• Evaluate and track the efficiency of treatment, conditions, and progress of each patient
• Facilitate and maintain a supportive community with other acupuncturists.
• Ensure proper treatment notes and client files are maintained
• Adhere to treatment times to ensure scheduled appointments are maintained
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a positive, can-do attitude
• Incredible at maintaining and building patient load through open and strong communication as well understanding of treatment plans.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate quickly and without constraint in a way that is easily understood
• Deliver a consistent guest experience that meets the VIE HEALING mission and vision
• Meet patient rebooking requirements via methodical treatment plans and procedures
• Fluent in VIE offerings and products, ensuring patients have access and all services, add-on and enhanced treatment options inside and outside of the treatment facility
• Attend all training and staff meetings
• Adhere to all VIE HEALING protocols for grooming standards, room set up, employee requirements for breaks/clocking in and out, etc. as well as specifics to execution of treatments.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with management and front-of-house staff to ensure daily client flow and operational standards are upheld
• Practice timelines with clients and staff. Always arrive at least 15min prior to the first client.
• Desire to expand your practice and learn.
• Be open to opportunities such as corporate events and retreats
• JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and/or Doctorate of Chiropractic
• Preferred knowledge of Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine
• Preferred knowledge of Master Tung technique
