ARC Acupuncture and Physcial Theapry Speacliat in Florida is seeking a motivated licensed acupuncturist to perform treatments in accordance with state licensing requirements. The practitioner will provide acupuncture to patients, caregivers, and staff during business hours in the integrative medicine space.

New grads welcome; candidates should prioritize hygienic technique, informed consent, and ongoing education as part of daily practice within a compliant team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACAOM/accredited Oriental/Traditional Chinese Medicine program with 1,850 hours.
• Active NCCAOM Diplomate preferred.
• Complete at least 15 hours of board-approved CE each year.
• Minimum of three years' acupuncture experience.
• Submit fingerprints for state/federal background check.

Job Overview

ARC is seeking a motivated acupuncturist to perform all treatments and services in accordance with the State of Florida acupuncture licensing requirements. The licensed acupuncturist will provide acupuncture to patients, caregivers, and staff during business hours of the integrative medicine space. New grads welcome!

Responsibilities

• Review medical records, health maintenance, illness, injury, and diagnosis as reported.
• Obtain informed consent from patients.
• Perform acupuncture services for patients, caregivers, and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Oriental Medicine and/or Traditional Chinese Medicine accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) with a minimum of 1,850 hours of training or a licensed physician trained in acupuncture.
• Active status preferred as a Diplomate in Acupuncture of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
• Complete at least 15 hours of board‑approved continuing education each year.
• Minimum of three years' experience providing acupuncture services to the public.
• Submitted a full set of fingerprints to the board for the purpose of obtaining a state and federal criminal record check (beginning July 1, 2016).

Additional Requirements

• Hand hygiene, clean needle technique, needling approach, and discussion of plan of care.
• Upload a license or certification and hold an active license to practice in Florida.
• Successful completion of an NCCAOM clean needle technique course.
