Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited acupuncture/Oriental medicine program.
• Current Nevada license or eligible to obtain Nevada licensure prior to beginning clinical practice.

• Strong foundation in acupuncture and Oriental medicine.
• Knowledge of adjunctive modalities such as cupping, moxibustion, electroacupuncture, gua sha, and herbal medicine preferred.

About the Opportunity

Las Vegas Integrative Medicine (LVIM) is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Acupuncturist/Oriental Medicine Doctor to join our growing integrative healthcare team.

We currently have opportunities for both full-time and part-time practitioners, providing flexibility based on experience, availability, and career goals.

We welcome experienced practitioners; however, preference will be given to qualified new graduates who are licensed or eligible to practice in Nevada. This is an excellent opportunity for a new practitioner looking to develop strong clinical skills, gain hands-on experience, build a patient base, and grow professionally within an established integrative medical practice.

At LVIM, our providers work collaboratively to deliver personalized care using acupuncture and complementary therapies. Our patient population includes individuals seeking care for chronic and acute pain, musculoskeletal conditions, stress and anxiety, women's health, general wellness, and other conditions appropriate for acupuncture and Oriental medicine.

Role Description

The Acupuncturist/OMD is an on-site position available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

The practitioner will provide individualized, patient-centered care by conducting comprehensive consultations, reviewing medical histories, performing appropriate assessments, and developing treatment plans within the practitioner’s Nevada scope of practice.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Performing acupuncture treatments based on individual patient needs
• Conducting initial consultations and follow-up assessments
• Developing and modifying individualized treatment plans
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress
• Utilizing appropriate adjunctive modalities, which may include electroacupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, and herbal medicine
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Educating patients regarding treatment plans, wellness, and appropriate lifestyle considerations
• Communicating effectively with patients regarding progress and continuity of care
• Collaborating with LVIM's integrative healthcare team
• Following clinic protocols, safety standards, HIPAA requirements, and Nevada regulatory requirements
• Providing a professional, compassionate, and welcoming patient experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited acupuncture/Oriental medicine program
